Responsibilities • Evolving, briefing and planning the strategic direction for optimizing costs, minimizing HSE exposure and balancing efficiency and effectiveness in Logistics operations, across Agip KCO. • Focusing at the e2e model and functions of logistics, evolve the ILSP to incorporate Inventory Management, Transport [Land, Sea and Air], Demand Management & Forecasting, Logistics ICT and Storage & Packaging]. • Providing support during internal promotion and roll-out activities aimed at improving the awareness of Agip KCO Logistics to EP, District Logistics, Full Field Development, Production and Non Kashagan Project Management teams. • Supporting the identification, planning, development and implementation of improvement programs within Agip KCO Logistics management. • Identifying on ongoing basis Logistics related risks, interface with logistics Onshore, Offshore and Strategy Management to develop means of mitigation, following Agip KCO ALARP principles. • Supporting the preparation of Business Case Proposals. • Defining, planning and preparing the Logistics Services to support Onshore & Offshore Projects in accordance with their requirements (including providing input into Logistics Infrastructure requirements). • Applying Logistics Corporate Policy, Strategy, Systems and Processes • Providing input to Agip KCO’s 5 year plan and ensuring alignment with the Agip KCO’s ILSP. In this respect s/he will work in close cooperation with all elements of the Agip KCO Logistics fraternity • Developing the Statement of Requirements for Onshore and Offshore Projects with regards but not limited to: ? Personnel transportation by sea, by air and/or by road ? Material transportation ? Material management including Warehousing ? Waste management ? EER/ER/OSR ? Marine coordination
Competences The job holder must have proven: • A lateral thinker, but able to bring logic to analysis and problem solving. • Leadership – putting the mission and team first; • An exceptional ability to articulate orally and on paper. • The intellectual capacity to simplify complexity, quickly reaching the nub of a problem and formulating solutions whilst balancing theory and pragmatism. • A flair for balancing safety, efficiency and effectiveness. • Self motivated and able to work independently to meet tight deadlines • Ability to take initiative, to maintain commercial confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment • Fluent oral and written English is essential. • Knowledge of RoK HSE legislation and international oil related standards • IT skills that match the requirements of the job
Qualifications • Degree in Business Management or Engineering • Professional Qualifications commensurate with a proven track record in Strategic Supply Chain and Logistics management with at least one major International E&P Operator at a Senior level. • Minimum of 10 years experience in Logistics Engineering and in developing, evaluation and/or improvement of Logistics Management Systems preferably in oil and gas industry. • Knowledge of Occupational Health, Environmental and/or Quality Management certification processes and of integrated management systems development and implementation projects.
Conditions Office environment in Atyrau. Visits to Company Offices, Contractor and vendor sites as required.
